Are you serious? 152 was a much more reasonable catchweight between Mayweather-Canelo, especially since Canelo was fighting nothing but mostly small spoon fed fighters to begin with along with past their primed no-hopers and after barely making 154 for those fights he would rehydrate all the way up to 175 instead of a reasonable 165 like DeLahoya and Cotto did when they fought Mayweather at the full-fledged 154 lb limit. At least 152, being that it's just two pounds south of the JMW division's limit and five pounds above the WW limit is a helluva lot reasonable than 150!

 

I'm talking about the catchweight demand against Canelo. Maybe Roach should also ask for the rehydration clause that Mayweather demanded?

 

Canelo initiated the 150lbs because his team knew that he won't have the Floyd fight if it was not on a catchweight, then Floyd asked for an on fight weight limit that Canelo totally rejected..

Anywhere between 147 - 154 is JMW a fight at any weight between there is legitamate.

Consindering how small Pac is rehydrating to 150 / 151 Even at 152 Canelo who will rehydrate to about 160 minimum will have a serious size and power advantage.

Be a good fight if it can be made.

 

Alvarez can't even make 154 anymore, this fight won't happen.
