So against Oscar he looked bloated but against Ricky he does not.

You do you realize that Pac maybe lost 1lb between DLH and Ricky?

do you also realize that fight night weights are not taken as accurately as the weigh-in? (amount of cloths on, possible HBO error, etc.) and even if it is accurate, i know what i saw and it was pac packing-up muscles in the oscar fight. pac weigh-in 138 in the hatton fight and gains 10 pounds. pac weigh-in 143 in oscar fight and gains just 5.5 pounds.

Pac should hold his ground, he doesn't need this fight as he has nothing left prove. He's health is intact, he has money and he can make more by just fighting low risk fighters before he retires. He's been the guy that's always coming up to fight others on their terms, he's paid his dues. Now that he's the MAN, he doesn't have to ever again bend over for anybody be it Floyd, Mosley or Cotto.

his muscles look more packed in the hatton fight. it was noticeable that his chest and biceps are a little bigger in the oscar weigh-in.

Pac looks slightly leaner in the Hatton picture yes.

Thats because had 4lbs less of water weight in him than compared to the DLH fight.

Good points. Pacquiao has a whole country (Philippines) behind, true and
it is also true that the dollars that is generated from that country cannot compare to Dela Hoya but it's not like Pacquiao's fan base is limited to only Filipinos or only Asians. In my opinion, Pacquiao is biggest draw in boxing today not Mayweather. It's only fair that Pacquiao gets the bigger slice of the purse. Like I said before, Pacquiao's fan base is not limited to Asians, there are Americans, Mexicans, and Europeans that want to see Pacquiao fight.

I think asking Moseley to go down as low at 142 is abit too much and Cotto at 140 is also unfair, but asking Mayweather to go back to 140 is not. Mayweather has a small body frame compare to Cotto and Moseley. I think he can still go down to 140 he only weight in at 150 when he fought Oscar and Hatton. I'm pretty sure he can move down if he wants to. He's not that heavy.

Good post. If Manny can't fight welters at welterweight then he's team should not being calling them out. I'm not that great of a fan of Roach to be honest. Trainers are overrated...... just as he said.

You guys might not agree but the way I see it, if Pacquiao and Roach was ok to take the risk to go to 147lbs to fight Oscar then why not go to 147lbs to fight Mosley or Cotto.

What happened to men, men are like bitches these days. What's with all this trying to make a man weight drained before fighting him.

Bring back the good old days. Im tired of this ***** ****, back in the day if you wanted to be the man you had to take on the man, whoever thay may have been at the time.

Nowadays there is too much pre-madonnas in the sport who want to choose guys who suit their style to give them an edge.

Boxing needs to definitely take a leaf out of Dana White's book and just match the best against the best. No hand picking just straight up best fighters fighting the best fighters.

I am glad Dawson is going to rematch Johnson because these fights are what should be happening.

Get rid of all these bull**** title belts and stick to only the official belts and we need to clear up some of the corrupt judging overseas and get rid of those organisations altogether.

anyway wishful thinking, that **** will never stop happening because money is the root to all evil.

i doubt it's just water. some of it are fats as seen in a less-ripped abs in the oscar weigh-in but most of it are muscles which his trainer added specifically for the oscar fight.
