Oh ok nobody fight Barrera he's not as good as in his prime....sorry mate you can't fight anymore we all want to remember you at your best.
It doesn't matter that your a pro boxer/warrior who actually wants to fight Khan, who thinks he can beat him your just not allowed to just in case you lose and all your fans will be sooo upset

there's no point in being niave. amir is one of the most hated boxers in britain. thats just a fact. if you dont know why then i would say you dont feel you've been strung a pack of lies about him like alot of others feel

If Barrera ( as I think , is too small and too old ) and Amir beats him and then comes out and says " well you know I'm pleased I won but that wasnt really MAB in there " I'll eat my words and get back behind him ( where I assure you I used to be ! ) If he wins the fight then we get fed the stream of **** about beating a legend blah blah ( ala Calz v Jones ) then I feel i have every right to say what I feel.

Assuming that's ok with you of course :D

No one strung me anything I watched him get silver then lose against Kindelan, Then he avenged that loss and turned pro.Since then I've watched every pro fight and enjoyed watching him, in my opinion he would beat Thaxton and Murray.
The hate seems to come from jealousy plain and simple,
Just because a boxer tells you they are the best you don't have to believe them.Every boxer does it to some degree some more than others.
Every manager tells you his fighter will win he's great etc..

Mauler If I was Khan and i'd just beaten Barrera the last thing i'd want to say was

"I can't believe i beat him that wasn't the Real MAB, no way would I have beat him
WOW he must be really on the slide!!

That is true , but didnt it seem odd they kept putting him in with guys from the weight class below with ( in some cases ) unbelievably low KO ratios , while holding him up as the greatest prospect in world boxing.

Anyway Like I say if the fight goes the way i expect it to my veiws an Mr Khan hang on how he behaves after it.

And yeah I know , I'm sure he doesnt give two f**ks what i think of him.

lol I suppose , put it that way .

I dont know its gonna be more his actions than his words I spose.

I honestly was a big fan ( i thought the St Clair fight was sublime ! )

But I like my heroes with a bit of humility abouty them !

Thats why I like Joe over Ali !

anyhoo nice chaffing with y'all Im off home !

i dont think at 34 barrera is shot, he shouldnt be or he wouldnt still be boxing. well i think he's going to find amir very easy to beat to be honest. thats what i think anyway.

Barrera is fighting on Friday against some Mehicano. His performance will go someway to telling us how good he is atm.

Big legs with the right technique will make him physically stronger, perhaps give him some more staying power. It would increase his power and perhaps make him a tad faster/flexible upstairs. Have to be careful it doesn't make it hard for him to make weight. I don't think his chin will ever be great but working those skinny legs can help.

I just hope the change in physique will at least allow Khan to take a jab without wobbling.

Did Pacman get knocked down by a jab in his early fights?
