WTF?! He lost his pro debut. He lost to a 4-2-2 guy who also dropped him

Yep. The opponent was better than expected, while Ramirez was overconfident and clearly rusty after being inactive.

Just like how Bob drew it up....Jesus lol. That's low key one of boxing's biggest upsets I've ever seen. I don't believe the sportsbooks were even taking bets on this fight.

I never thought much of Ramirez despite all of his success as an amateur, but I never thought this would happen. Does anybody know why it was changed from a 6 round fight to a 4 round fight? Is there any video of it?

The reason why I never liked Ramirez is his style of defence, unlike other Cuban fighters he tends to put his hands up and not move. He always took punishment as an amateur because of that style but because they weren't clean punches he would still win his fights. I always viewed him as gaming the system rather than as being an outstanding boxer. For a Cuban fighter he also lacks the explosive athleticism, variation in punches and tempo, and stylish boxing they tend to have. I had no excitement about him turning pro, and I'm a big fan of Cuban boxing. I'm guessing he lost because of that guard he has, absorbing punches mostly with his guard but still taking damage.

Hes work ethic has always been questionable .
He would usually just turn up in the big tournaments and lose a lot throughtout the year.
He was dropped a few times by Cuba.
Bags of talent but i think he lacks the discipline for the pro game
