He looks like he has some talent for a big guy. Even a nice uppercut. I see him being a champ down the road.

Definitely a future beltholder once the Klits are gone. Him and Pulev are being matched very tough and are looking like top prospects.

People were on here hating on the guy after his last fight... but I thought he actually looked pretty good (in a big white-boy kinda way) for a guy with only 10 pro fights.

    Definately a prospect.

Assuming sauerland had 3 fights option to Haye last fight will be against Helenius and new WBA champ will be...

He's not much to look at, but beating down a former champ (Brewster) in only your 10th fight out is pretty impressive imo.

He definitely isn't being matched up real soft, that's for sure, which is good.

He should change his name to Jermain Taylor's Nightmare because he's like Pavlik, if Kelly were exposed to radioactive waste and became supersized. Helenius is one part Pavlik, one part Toxic Avenger. He's got future champ written all over him.

Brewster is toast. Brewster was beaten down by Gbenga Olukun, who's lost three of his last four fights, two of them to mediocre prospects. Heck, Helenius' test against Olukun this weekend is a tougher fight than Brewster. I do think the Bidenko win was impressive though.

I'm not totally sold on Helenius. He has a lot of the tools. He's big, long and strong. He's not super duper slow. He seems to be improving technically. But he's still a big goofy looking dude who's clumsy looking in the ring. He'll probably be fighting mid-level guys for a long time before he really steps up, just because there's so much he needs to improve on.

Kubrat Pulev, on the other hand, he could be fighting for a title next year. Seven fights into his career and he's beaten Olukun, Skelton, Zack Page and Danny Batchelder, and he's scheduled to fight someone who is 28-1 next. Well-rounded and already a very good boxer too.

Maybe his nickname should be "the Mutant Ghost".

I need to stop mixing him up with Steve Herelius.

Especially since their careers are pointed in very different directions. :yep

Lord help me if they ever fight.

    Actually...lord help Steve.

Is Oloukun durable ? It's listed as a 8 round bout so I am wondering if Helenius could force a stoppage boxing in his home country .
