Guerrero's better than we thought, but we need to start seeing some consistency. The Guerrero that coasted against an old Casamayor and got dropped by him, and the one that struggled with Aydin, looked like different fighters to the one that beat Berto. If he can replicate that performance, he'll start paving the way towards a big money fight.

Wasn't sold on him fighting at WW, but think he adjusted to the weight well.. He'd make some interesting fights at 147. Not a big fan, but can't say I'd miss a fight unless I had to.

That spot used to belong to Mares before the Moreno fight

Underestimate guys who are ¨good at everything but not special at anything¨ at your own peril

Among the most underrated with fellow "top 20 P4P guys" in: Geale, Moreno, Viloria, John. By nature of the divisions Uchiyami, Ioka, and Koki are all quite underrated too.

Yeahhhhhh, but Mares is P4P THE dirtiest fighter in boxing at the moment.

Without the iffy KD and the utterly bull**** point deduction which should have gone twice in the opposite direction, I scored the Mares/Moreno fight a draw.

In the middle of the flurry which sent Moreno down, Mares literally lands a squared up shot to Moreno's butt cheek. Never seen it before. And never seen so many over the shoulder punches landed to someone's back before. Let alone the insane amount of low blows (it was kind of close to Agbeko-esque with the low blows).

What iffy Knockdown? It was as legit as they come and Moreno was on his way to the canvas when Mares threw that last irrelevant shot, Moreno was already down with or without it.

Mares: first guy to KD Moreno ever in both pro and amateur fights deal with it :deal

The point deduction was bs though

Still, only you and Moreno's mother could think Moreno won the match, even a draw is bs. Mares controlled too much of the action and outgunned Moreno by far, that overhand right (new weapon of the adaptable Mares btw) was doing a number with Moreno's face. Chemito won 4 rounds only, and that's if you want to be generous.

Mares had a little help from the ref yeah, but truth is he didn't need it.

mares achievements are by the skin of his teeth at times. guerrero has dones his time so to speak. nd should recieve his dues in some way. mares is a seller. guerrero never was. just a cheap fight espn could boost their main event to world title status.

Well rounded fighters without one outstanding facet are easy to underestimate. Put him in with a banger and he doesn't have the power. With a speedster and he's slow.

Fans and writers typically look at the assets that can win a guy a fight. They often overlook the flaws that can cost a guy one. Next thing you know a Danny Garcia or a Robert Guerrero is the underdog in one fight after another.

You know the funny thing is Guerrero has way better wins at the weights Broner does and has been on a roll and all we hear about is how many people want to suck Broners balls.

Guerrero gets not much love compared and how people now could rate behind Broner is well beyond me.

Broner passes the 'eye test'. He is fast and explosive. Lots of talent but lets see when his chin is tested. Talent does not equal accomplishment. If that were the case Michael Vick would be an all time great and Drew Brees would be a back up Quaterback. Pardon my football analogy.
