My guess for Helenius on Dec 3 is either Chagaev, Johnson, or Rahman. I hear the payday is supposed to be decent, so I could see Chag taking the fight as he's basically out of contention. But Johnson is likely to decline, and Rah will probably be petitioning for his mandate against Potvetkin. A KO loss to Helenius would erase that altogether. I was actually hoping for Holy to get this fight, see Sasha carry him for 12 rds, winning a UD or an RTD, then seeing Holy retired. Sad, but I was really hoping the former champ would take this L and call it a day. Now we've got to see him fight on into his 50s. Perhaps Holy will fight Grant for his vacated WBF minor title. That would be a decent scrap.
Any doctor and lawyer could get him SSD tommorrow. I mean, I know some women who are on SSD simply because they're depressed....surely some brain damage got to get him some consideration.
Aside from our opening comment of "delusions of K2 grandeur", good intelligent post, extremely rare here. Prior to his fight with WK I had been reading a lot about the innovative methods of training that CS was using and how dilligently he was training. I don't know if any of that is findable online any more. He had the most phenomenal hand speed-punching power, amazing natural ability. He had been smacking Rahmna around like a rag doll proior to running out of gas. He said he did zero running prior to that fight due to an allegedly hurt foot. In his final comeback fight he was doing teh same to Chief Bongobongo or whoever it was - until he got tapped in his stomach, and then he fell down. I'm sure he didn't do so much as a single situp training for that fight. And then, incredibly, he showed up for the biggest fight of his life vs. Vitali FAT. I had been suspicious watching him train with his sweatshirt always on. Vitali was in peak form that night, a thing of beauty to watch, and still fat CS was missing him with bombs by inches. Throughout most of his career the big names very carefully avoided fighting him for obvious reasons - and yes, he sure did have his weaknesses, but as you say in your last line, I think he could have been one of the great ones.
Kimbo's 1st 2 fights= 2 W(2KO) 6 L(6KO) His next 10= 10 Ws 60 Ls(59KOs) I don't think Kimbo can squeeze a guy like Helenius into that ladder.
Yeah, I think he made more in step aside $$$ in his career that he did for actually fighting....AKA...Holy, Lewis, Briggs, Tyson etc
doesnt matter what color wlad is, he still would suck just as much as he does now.. **** off with your black and white conspiracy
Not even your wildest dreams, chico I think Helenius next 2 fight would be easy victory by KO and fighters which have a name Thompson, Johnson, Chagaev..that's is probably game plan of Sauerland team..then they are good negotiating position with the Klitschko's

Must agree. Helenius is much more than uppercut...He's an different level of size and power than Ruddock...anything to get away from Ruddock but still
