Krasniqi is circling in a light jaunt, strafing left and right, throwing snowflake jabs into Cherviak's line of sight and stamping long uppercuts into his torso below the elbows. Cherviak is galloping in and looking to hook the body, grabbed behind the neck and spun away in the corner. Krasniqi is pushing off with both arms and landing jabs and chopping rights as Cherviak resets his feet at a distance. Cherviak is stumbling after Krasniqi, using very sloppy footwork looking to pressure him onto the ropes.

and the legend of Golovkin continues to grow as the only man to actually stop Khomitsky who should have been lineal MW Champion and SMW Champion had it not been for bogus hometown decisions. (Martinez/Murray, Murray/Khomitsky, Steiglitz/Khomitsky)

 

Round 10

Krasniqi is dancing around Cherviak throwing jabs and uppercuts from well outside Cherviak's strike zone. Cherviak is jumping straight in, eating the light shots of Krasniqi willingly and looking to hammer down with rights over the top and dig hooks at Krasniqi's hips meant to cut him down to size and slow him down. Krasniqi is able to stay just far off enough for Cherviak to only graze him, and is happy to sacrifice being able to sit down on any of his own shots in the bargain. Cherviak gets in one really good uppercut the entire round, snapping Krasniqi's head up and to the side but unable to follow up before Krasniqi ties up, releases, and dances out of the corner.

Round 11

Krasniqi is gassing a little, resting on the ropes, allowing Cherviak to bang him like a drum. Cherviak is walloping Krasniqi on either side, loading up and throwing wide and then shoving both arms straight out into Krasniqi's chest when he looks to start moving laterally. Good sustained body work by Cherviak. Krasniqi frees himself with a steady rhythm of jabs, taking dipping steps in reverse with each jab. Cherviak pursues, throwing lead rights up from his brow, guard up high and tight.

I'll LMAO if Cherviak gets a twelfth round KO after Krasniqi needlessly exerted himself with so much extraneous movement all night.

Round 12

Krasniqi is huffing and puffing as he gets off his stool, his people surrounding him whispering encouraging words to pump him up for the last three minutes. Cherviak moves straight in on him to attack from the bell and Krasniqi is on the ropes fighting to survive. Hooks to the body by Cherviak. Krasniqi fends him off with jabs and head-patting rights from above, looming over Cherviak and swallowing him up in a clinch. Krasniqi pushes off and scores an uppercut on the face. Cherviak doesn't even blink, grinding in closer and working hooks on the flanks of Krasniqi. Cherviak is held until a break is called. Cherviak keeps the hooks flowing as Krasniqi runs into the ropes. Krasniqi pulls Cherviak into a clinch. Break. Krasniqi ducks and covers up. Jabs and hammering blows by Cherviak. Wild uppercuts and flailing rights by Krasniqi up close. Both missing a lot.

Things we learned tonight:

Khomitsky has **** luck. (this we already knew)

Stieglitz really blows now. (this we already suspected, from the Abraham rubbermatch)

Krasniqi tops out at "Euro circuit 10-rounder" level. (which is where most of his career has been spent and where he ought to remain)

Cherviak if nothing else does have self-belief aplenty. (dude was legitimately going for the KO in the championship rounds even though he would probably need 8oz gloves and lots of accumulation to crack an egg...and I mean a standard chicken egg, not like an ostrich's...)
