I did give reasons why it wouldnt be a destruction though, PBF's skillset. I picked Duran to win, but I honestly believe anyone saying Duran would easily destroy Floyd Mayweather isn't looking at things objectively.

I really like Duran and is legend is justified. But, Floyd is a mover and would be the greatest defensive fighter Duran ever fought and this would create problems. Also, Floyd had great power at lightweight so he could hurt Duran as well. Floyd Ud!

Duran is one of the greatests, if the greastest, lightweights of all time.

Styles make fights. I do think Duran was troubled by all kinds of movement. Viruet was able to stay at a distance at times, but perhaps he was troubled less at lightweight than nearer middle (Leonard and Lang clearly used some movement to befuddle him).

I think Floyd has a pretty good style for fighting a much more dangerous man. If Duran did not have kind of lackluster performances against back foot movers I would never pick Floyd over him, but I think the styles make this pretty even.

oh yeah, and 135 WAS Floyd's worst weight class, I agree. at 130 or 140 he looked better in general for some reason. So I guess if its the same Floyd from the Castillo fight, Duran, but I feel like that is the low point of Floyd's performances.

This is at lightweight. Duran was a much better lightweight than Mayweather.

I'm sure Mayweather would have his moments, but he'd be mostly on the defensive and ultimately Duran would have too much for him.

PBF gives that guy a boxing lesson. Too much speed too much lateral movement too much ring IQ. Duran struggles with speed and PBF holds the stylistic advantage in this fight as well. PBF by UD:deal

That's what these idiots fail to realize. They refuse to look at styles just names and say Druan by KO. That's what separates people who know boxing from amateurs who can't break down fights and see strenghts and weaknesses. PBF would give him fits and is a stylistic nightmare for Duran.:deal Faaster than him of both hand and foot better ring IQ and great defense, countering ability and underrated toughness with unlimited stamina.

Floyd at 135 is just as quick and hits just as hard as SRL, he beat Duran 2/3 times. The fight he lost was when he fought Duran's fight. Floyd, has a great boxing I.Q. and wouldn't slug with Duran but will outbox Duran and give him angles and use lateral movement and use his jab to keep Duran at bay. Floyd UD!.

If anyone has bothered watching the first Castillo fight they will see that Mayweather clearly had an injury from discussions between rounds, so there's no point in thinking prime Mayweather at 135 would be like he was in that fight.

What you've got here is in my opinion the best Superfeatherweight and the best Lightweight in boxing history going at it, now Manyweather doesn't have anywhere near the record of Duran at LW but I do think his movement would really cause Duran problems.
