    emmanuel gets KTFO.

THis isn't no Diaz, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, or Margarito. He's ****ing with the best inside fighter ever.

Much as I love Manny, Duran would wreck him. Pac would surely have his moments, but they'd be few and far between. Any weight they fought at, Duran takes it. We're talking about a guy who, at his best, is arguably the most impressive fighter we have film of.

Look at the fight with Davey Moore to see what even a past prime Duran would have done to Margarito.

Late round stoppage from 135-147, clear decision from 154-160.

Duran would literally smash poor manny through the ropes right into an open coffin waiting outside the ring..manny would last 4 rounds TOPS..

    Duran by Fatality..

I always liked Pac, but I always stay on the line with him. I mean how can anyone put him in a fantasy fight with Duran and the other day with Hearns and having Pac win both. He has been carefully matched with bigger fighters that were drained to catchweights. Oscar was not a catchweight, but jeez, he did not see 147 in over 9 years. Now, he wins the WBC 154 title not even weighing anything close to 154. Let him fight a legitimate 154 like Martinez at the legitimatel weight to see what happens. How some posters can't see this is amazing. Martinez will possibly take the fight at 152 just for the money. The legitimacy of winning all these titles at catchweights is unbelievable.

duran at 135 aged 26 or so and the Duran that beat leonard at 147 would beat pacquiao, although he wouldnt walk over him. however i think, pacquiaos relentless coming forward gets him tko'd in the late rounds. i also dont think that pacquiao could handle durans bodywork at 147 either.

all the same, he would cause Duran to be great and losing to a great version of Roberto Duran - there is no shame in that

Good post. Nothing wrong with being a Pac fan, he has a very appealing style and it's impossible not to like him, but when you put him in with the likes of Duran and Hearns and have him winning, perspective has been lost. I suspect most of the posters making these comments weren't around when Duran, Hearns, Hagler and SRL were in their primes, so they simply find it hard to imagine that anyone could beat a fighter like Pac.

Duran would beat Pacquiao handily on points at any weight 135-154, and is by some distance the greater fighter overall.

To suggest that Duran sucks at higher weights tells me you never saw him fight. All you're capable of doing is finding Duran's darkest moments and pathetically using it to justify your position. But obviously to say Duran sucks at higher waits is to admit you never saw him fight Leonard, Moore, Hagler and Barkley. And to even imagine Pac beating any of these fighters, or in Haglers case going the distance, is almost as unimaginable as thinking Pac would have a hope in hell of beating Hearns. Hearns has to perfect style to really cause damage to the inside fighters like Duran and Pac because he has so much damn power and size in his favour. And Hearns is no Margo, he's an ATG top 10 welterweight fighter..so a lightweight loosing to someone of that calibre isn't all that disasterous.

LOL at you comparing the Margo fight to Duran. Did you watch the Pac Margo fight closely, the only reason Pac got hurt is because his left arm got caught in the Top Rank rope which left him open to the body shot. PAC was trying to free his left arm while at the same time trying he was trying to block also and his whole maneuver was messed up which left him open. Other than that he may have taken a few uppercut but he was really never in any trouble.

Read my post properly you thick no-****-all ****, If a slow plodding Margo & get to him then Duran would drown pac in pain & if that was Duran who had Pac on the ropes then he would have chopped him in half & Pac would have resembled a 1000 piece jigsaw with 1/2 the pieces missing:cool:
