No sir, from recollection I was trying to second guess the judges based on the refereeing.

 

awful screw job so blatent it was untrrue
Ottke did come back into it later on but when your opponent is given warnings for throwing a right hand no wonder

 

Referee was Belgian, if I remember rightly - absolutely shocking performance on his part, how Reid didn't get a rematch is shameful.

 

There are some posters on this site who actually believe that Otkke deserved the verdict and that Reid was punching incorrectly.atsch

What was particularly disgusting was Otkke complicity with this farce!

 

112-117/113-115/113-115 were the scores. So if round 6 was officiated properly you get a Reid win.

 

The funniest/worst bit was when Tillerman warned Reid for hitting Ottke in the face; pure corrupt gold.:yep

 

I hate thinking about that fight.

It's such a shame that Calzaghe didn't batter Ottke.

 

If they're gonna **** Reid over for 'impropper punching' then Calzaghe wouldn't have a chance!

However it is a nice thought, Calzaghe treating him like the proverbial "red headed stepchild".
