just watched the Robin Reid , Sven Ottke again there must be some court case european court of trading standards or some other ****, because if i was Robin Reid i would sue the arses off them for loss of earnings, it was a total robbery. i mean Robin could have missed out on hundreads of thousands of pounds because of that referee, obviously a fix by the cheating krouts too. i cant believe he has not taken it further, because it is total scandal, surely something could have been done about it. Reid hit him and Ottke complained, WTF
You're preaching to the choir, that fight's a disgrace. But Reid's too much of a gentleman to make a fuss I suppose. Can you believe Tilleman (the ref) was then allowed to score the Froch - Kessler fight? And guess how he scored it? He's obviously just a total idiot or a raging Anglophobe or both.
Ottke was told the top british fighter at the weight didnt actuall punch, he slapped. so he was shocked when a punch was thrown that wasnt with the inside of the glove. Cant really blame him there. But yea it was scandalous, and its a shame more wasnt made of it, had that fight been live on Sky or BBC/ITV, more could have been made of it, instead we got delayed eurosport coverage.
Simply the worst refeering I've ever seen. Beyond incompetent. Reid was warned beforehand that if he was DQd, he wouldn't get paid. Why on earth would anyone specify that? Tilleman has no place in the sport.

Jess did file a complaint to the IBF who had appointed the judges and the ''''''Ref''''''. But as per usual they did absolutely nothing. This was when allegedy they were at their very most corrupt what with all the King involvement etc. There is a doc on it called boxings dark side.
And yet ironically Reid wasn't awarded the kd and docked a point for improper punching. atsch Reid was also jobbed in the Lacy fight almost as badly.
Besides the Bad Ref. I though Reid won 8-4 in rounds but as soon as I seen his tactics early on were to fight off the back foot i knew he wasnt getting the decision. They can always argue Ottke was the agressor and all that bull
I still thought Reid won clearly but Ottke did better in the final parts of the fight to make it close enough ish for them to do it If it wasnt for the ref I dont think hed have been able to do it though
Robin Reid was very unlucky in ways during his career close fight with calzaghe at least deserved a rematch loss to Sven Ottke which should have been a win and the way he was treated for the Jeff Lacy fight was dispicable he had to train in his hotel room if i rememeber and by doing laps in the communal pool. Ultimately i think he lost passion for the game and he went into the Froch fight for a payday how different his record might have looked.....
I agree with most of that. Robin himself would probably tell you he didn't help him self a lot of the time with some of his extra curricular activities. But he's very much underated. I just hope he got some decent paydays which I think he did.
