First of all, fair play to Rocky getting in the ring with Canelo and giving it his all, made himself good money and I would never knock him for taking on that challenge.

however I look at BJS attitude, when chasing the GGG/Canelo fight this was a guy convinced he would beat Canelo and that Canelo didn't want to fight him.

You then compare it to Fielding who was acting like he won a competition to be there, surely Rocky attitude into this fight was all wrong?

Im sure Hearn said he was getting 7 figures, I'd be acting like I'd won a competition too. Just be pleased for the lad.

From what Eddie was saying it appears Rocky has never earned 6 figures for a fight.

Doubt he has made 70k+ before tbh.
After tax and expenses 70k becomes a hell of a lot less too.

    1mill is life changing money

Rocky knows he ain't Billy Joe lol
If he thought he had a chance he might have got really hurt!

I agree to an extent amazing he got life changing money but you was getting big money regardless of if you went in there for the experience or going in gung ho trying to land the Hail Mary. Just think if you was going to go out within a couple of rounds atleast go out giving it a good go.

As you said, he gave it his all. Maybe his thoughts were realistic and he knew he was likely to get beat, and that showed in his interviews etc., but it didn't show in the ring, cos he gave it a go. Looked like he knew he wasn't going to be able to box with him for 12 rounds so he went for a shootout and tried to land some heavy leather, which was probably his only chance of pulling off the upset. He was just out of his depth. No shame in that and Fielding can be proud of himsef IMO.

I worried about him in the build up. Him and Nigel where constantly on twitter doing loads of touristy stuff in the days before the fight! Get you head down and do all that after the fight

    This +1.

And he can be even prouder when he checks his bank balance.
Beat fair and square but no where near being battered or humiliated in any way.
    A "good" loss.
Gave it a good go and wasn't Khaned.

I think attitude is the wrong word. Self belief is what you’re looking for.
