I know what he means, the exciting blood and guts warrior leaves an indelible mark, while the highly skilled technician fades into the recesses of the mind. no need to clarify. however, why would he focus on street thugs as some of the only people remembering mayweather as an all time great? why? that's an unfounded statement
I'm not SUBLIMINALLY hinting anything about Money or his fan base, m. I'm sayin' straight-up he's a hands-down first-round ATG who'll fade from memory long before gym rats tire of talkin' about Graziano.
john you got time to answer them questrion yet? also john did you ever see la motta box as a heavyweight as a amature?
im not even talking about you. take a chill pill. i was never talking about you. im talking about the dude who made the comment initially. if the shoe fits, huh? I see you're very much an internet beef starter. more power to you. your not even sure what part of his argument I disagreed with.
I think he said Artie Levine hit him the hardest. The shot that Ray kod Rocky with looked pretty good too, his gum shield must have gone three rows !
stick to the general if your going to start argueing if someone disagrees with you it aint for the Classic to start arguments and JG knows his boxing inside out, what he says is very much respected by everyone cause hes seen it all before and like i said knows it better than most. Who the **** are you some Mayweather nuthugger?
dont tell me what forum to stick to, the dude questioned my intelligence after I asked a legitimate question. maybe you should go back and read it yourself. JG is the one in the wrong, and its cool if he knows better than most. that's commendable, a total opinion, but commendable. One thing he doesn't know how to do, clearly, is figure out a person's point before labeling them as unintelligent or assuming what their point happens to be. and your problem seems to be the same thing, aside from being a JG dickrider. and no, im not a mayweather "nuthugger" (what the hell is that?). he's one of the best of this generation, yes, but thats where it ends.
you know what, i'll take the dude's advice about leaving this forum on the basis that there is entirely too much circle jerking going on for this guy JG. later:hi:
LoL I've never seen someone so affected for something so little and stupid. If it's any consolation I edited my post, obviously not in time for your quick witted retorts.
I just thought what you were saying was uncalled for in critisising JG for no apparent reason from what i read. Althoguh i did take my post abit too far and i apoligise, but after reading your reply i might have to reconsider
Maybe the "street thugs" comment referred to the kind of "wannabe gangstas" that may aspire to act a little silly like Mr.Mayweather does at times : http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=Fi3LrdjXXGM I can understand why some wannabe thugs might hold some affinity/loyalty to Mayweather, simple if they like his image, or share in his desire to come across as some 4th-rate rapper parody. Just a theory, mind you. I mean, that's my interpretation. I dont think it was a worthwhile comment to make or necessarily touched on much truth at all, but I suppose it is not totally bizzare. There's some some sort reasoning behind it, I guess. It was a secondary point at best, and the main point was a good one I think we all agree.
