Rocky would win a unanimous decision over Michael. And that's simply, due to the fact, that Michael survived all those butt-whippings from one Joe Jackson, so that made him tough.
Oh my gosh. You're right!! And I've heard Michael and other family members say that Mike was hard for Joe to catch. He'd dash away and hide under the bed, but when Joe caught him, he took his beating. He had a George Chuvalo chin. He took his beatings better than that punk Jermaine, or Tito. Ironically, it wasn't Joe's Jack Dempsey-esque beatdowns that killed Mike in the end...it was a sleeping aid. :-(
What a way to go for a legend. But maybe it's better that he died that way.It may have been worse:huh.
Ironically, Joe Jackson was an amatuer boxer before he and his wife had all those kids. But he maintained his punching techniques, often practicing on his sons. Makes me wonder if that's why all the Jackson siblings talk in soft, whispery voices. (Except for Tito) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHn_NSY-TM4[/ame]
Rocky would definitely have more stamina in the sack. Definitely. You've gotta figure he's used to pushing around men as big as 230lbs around the ring for 15 rounds. That's gotta be more intense than even a 2hr concert. Nobody's trying to punch MJ in the face when he's singing. From what I understand, The Rock was married to a larger woman. It makes sense, given his level of opposition. I can't imagine any girl wanting to get down with Michael Jackson. Getting pounded by The Rock... well... Butterbean would be like a gooey marshmallow. I think I'm going to throw up in my mouth now. :hi:
Who did Rocky fight who was 230 pounds? I always thought that Joe Louis, Carmine Vingo, and Don Cockell were his heaviest opponents? Were there other opponents who weighed over 200 that Rocky fought?
When would you say his prime was? A lot of people will tell you Thriller, but his songwriting and dancing improved after that era. He was gifted all the way until he died, actually. In This Is It, he moved better than his 20 year-old backups dancers. Any version of MJ would be a great mover in the ring, against anyone.
