Gotta love when you post direct quotes from fighters, trainers, etc and people just ignore whatever doesn't fit their agenda.

I don’t have an agenda. I’ve already stated I agree with ur explanation of what u consider “boxing”. It’s when people throw around the term unskilled I take issue with. Obviously he wasn’t a dancer

None of my posts have ever called Rocky unskilled.

Could turn in to a rough hard fight for both.
If it's a motivated Mccall then it's not an easy task for Rocky, no way.
I think Marciano struggle s like mad here and there s a good chance he gets that busted up, that the ref has to stop it.

When you match up a 185 pound Marciano w a 240 pound McCall its the same as matching a 135 pound lightweight vs a 175 pound light heavyweight .. from there it is the quality and strength of the fighters and the styles .. P4P no question Marciano superior fighter ... H2H I don't see Rocky, who won on strength and bull stamina pushing around a rock solid concrete block like McCall and beating him ... there are reasons there are divisions ...

You would not match up McCall at 240. Because although he was much lighter & much heavier than this, at his peak, we must say vs. Lewis the first time & Larry Holmes, he was 231 lbs.
Rocky was 187-189 for his last fights, he said himself 187/188 ls. was his ideal weight

Still, if you add the caveat of McCall having enough skills, you can make a good argument there about the size discrepancy.

That's kind of the reaction I had like, "Who is he talking about"?.

Putting aside splitting hairs, do you pick Marciano to beat McCall and if so on what tangible facts ?

You will forgive me correcting details: it is the right thing to do, especially when people exaggerate facts-often subconsciously-to favor their arguments. Rarely do folks who are trying to say someone is too small overestimate their dimensions, this is no coincidence.
    Details matter.

As to the question at hand: facts such as size can only assist us to form an opinion.
It is far from factual, a complete judgement call, who would win.
This would be true even for insane match ups like an average Joe against either of them, but in a case like this, we cannot have any assurance of being right.

HOWEVER: I doubt McCall can KO Rocky.
Although with the size disparity we cannot rule it out, Marciano would still have a much higher work rate, & not tire appreciably.
I could be wrong, but I do not think McCall hits quite hard enough to take him out.

    McCall was not elusive.
He is certainly not going anywhere-likely the GOAT chin, if not certainly close.
He also shells up when necessary.

So nearly a 2/3 chance that Marciano outworks him for a decision.
The next most likely outcome? Marciano

McCall by TKO. Rocky is too small.

McCall stopped Seldon/Damiani/Maskayev/Lewis/Akinwande............all big Heavies with a fair amount of skill, some Boxers/Punchers and Boxer Punchers in that list.................McCall can hit and he can find chins...............he WILL stop Marciano plus Marciano aint beating that list without taking big losses.
