Did he also add and drop inches from his height because he is listed as 5'11"
Norris turned pro at 20years old weighing half a pound under
    200lbs.
You were wrong on their heights, and wrong on their reaches.Every thing else you typed is a smokescreen.

Norris is listed on screen "tale of the tape" against Tony Tucker as being 5'9" and 70" reach. Please go to 00.45 then get back to me.:good

At 24 years of age Norris comes in at 190lb and that's after four years scaling anything from 199-227. He stays within 190 for five fights then has one heavyweight fight at 210 then goes back to 190 then 204 within two fights! Another five fights at 190 then 14 heavyweight fights where he was really big 220-247! Then guess what? Three fights in the high 190s. In his last active year 2005 Norris weighed 213 twice and on his final fight came in three pounds UNDER his debut weight 19 years earlier....

presumably He was 5'9" with a 70" reach the whole time as he assisted or the first Tucker fight.

Tucker was passed prime for the first meeting with Norris and beyond shot for the second one

Than why does Lewis get credit?

Tucker was still hanging in the top 5 rankings from this alleged stacked era.

Either way an example of Norris finding success by not being elusive but swarming.

Nobody with 40-1 record is passed prime. He had only two competative fights by then.

Please go to Box Rec then get back to me.
    Bottom line
He was taller than Marciano, heavier than Marciano , and had 2 inches reach on him.

In Rocky's era weights were taboo. If he was fighting in the 80s I'd bet he'd be at least 15 lbs heavier and stronger. His short arms were a big advantage on the inside. He looked impossible to clinch and could fired short shots really close. I think being short was and would be an advantage

As I said earlier, the real heavyweight talent is being stolen by horse racing. The great heavyweights are riding the back of stallions and phillies.

It's funny, you won't make one exception to the rule.

99% of the time the best guy wins. Even that still leaves 1% dosnt it?

A lot of the time a good big man beats a good small man. It's a fact. I accept that the vast majority of the time. However, Some of the time, a much rarer proportion of great small men beat good big men. Its rare but it happens.

Between Rocky and Norris The height and reach differential is NEGLIGIBLE.

The weight differential was actually equal to Rocky for significant spells during Norris's career.

The fact that Norris was able to put on and take off muscle mass to suit the occasion tells us two things. Firstly a man that short could beat world class modern superheavyweights without being great and secondly he proved he was fighting outside his natural weight class.

Norris and Marciano don't share stylistic similarity.

Norris crouched, bobbed and weaved and pressured the taller Tucker.
