Rodrigo Valdez vs. Joey Archer

    The tricky Archer goes the full 15 rounds with Valdez and makes life difficult for him, but Valdez' power causes Joey to be more defensive than he needed to be and he loses on points.

    Archer by clear, but competitive, decision. His style is all wrong for Valdez. Archer was one of the best technical boxers in MW history.

    Tough to call. Both guys have strengths that could trouble the other, but both also have weaknesses the other could exploit.

    Valdez certainly could be troubled by boxers and movement, but Archer's lack of real firepower caught up with him at times as well.

    I think Archer wins a split decision - certainly, if it's in New York he will. :D
