Rogan couldn't see anything due to his eye - was very tired and was being hit a lot. Rogan then threw some wild shots and caught Sexton... Sexton turned in a great Enzo Maccarinelli impression and was all over the place. Parris stepped in for hitting behind the head (bit like Calzaghe - Kessler) and gave Sexton precious time to recover.... Sexton caught again and his hands were around his boots... Rogan refused to punch a man who couldn't defend himself.. Then got the doctor in... all over... Excellent fight.
Rogan had him out on his feet. Parris ept letting Sexton hold on and turn his back. Sexton hands down. Rogie walks in and instead of massacaring him says to Parris stop it. Parris gives Sexton a good 30 seconds to put his gumshield back in. Parris calls the doctor for Rogies eye a few seconds later. Fight over
Complete ****ing bull****, Sexton stood there with his hands down waiting on the KO, Rogan stood there expecting a stoppage and 30 seconds later gets pulled out by the doc. Unbelievable ... there must be a rematch.
Sexton was pretty much doing a Macca chicken dance, rogan didn't pounce, he looked at the ref to stop it when he should have finished it himself, sexton held on, ref called the doctor, fight over.
Sexton came out with the perfect gameplan. Boxing in spurts, landing his jab and then clinching. He was something liek 5 rounds to 1 in front. Then Rogie started to come back but his left eye was badly swollen. He had Sexton more or less out on his feet in the last round and then Sexton dropped his gumshield and Rogie stopped boxing. Sexton was looking at the floor and Rogan should have took his chance. The ref went to the doc and Rogie's left eye was shut, couldn't see **** out of it so they stopped it.
i dont think rogie had **** all left, he looked like he was looking for a rest. thoroughly entertaining though,there must be a rematch..
Yeah Parris should have stopped it, Sextons hands were down he was completely helpless....then Rogan helped him. And Parris stops for the gumshield. atsch What was alll that warning about the back of the head too? Damn, what an unsatisfying way for an excellent match to finish. Rogan is like a movie action hero
You're meant to defend yourself at all times. Sexton most definitely didn't do that. What a fight though. Rematch is a must. Maybe Sky will sort their rankings out as well now. Rogan's eye really must have been ****ed if he thought the doctor had ten fingers held up.
