I thought the same thing as well when I first watched it. But i sensed foul play from HBO and that was confirmed when I read the FULL transcript on the Bscene's website. Roger was refferrng to a boxer called Howard Davis Jnr...who was the fastest boxer at one period who never won a world championship. Roger was using him as an example as sometimes it doesn't matter how fast you are, skill counts for more. He then went on to give the Cotto vs Pac and the Cotto vs Shane. Stating that Cotto beat Shane and Shane was supposidly faster but when Cotto faced Pac he became undone. So really he showed his intelligence. I advice you all to READ the full transcript rather than listening to HBO's 'hollywood' version!
