Roger Mayweather: Vernon Forrest would have been Floyd's 'most difficult test'

As would I, I think he beats Floyd comfortably like 8-4 type decision, people forget how good a prime Forrest was.

 

Same here: always thought Forrest (in his prime) could have beaten Mayweather. A pity Forrest had so many injuries though

Styles make fights...two whole diff shits...but Vernon won the second fight with Ricardo. The Sergio Mora fight...Vernon looked terrible, but he dominated the second one. I think Floyds slicknest would have led to a UD though.

He never fought Martinez, he fought Sergio Mora. Martinez dedicated the Williams fight to "Viper" but that's the only correlation between Forrest and Martinez I can find.

 

If Vernon was alive (rest in peace), he would have been another fighter Floyd would easily school. Ain't that right Floyd fans?

The likes of Margarito at 147 or PW at 154 would give Floyd hell.

 

The main thing is that Mayorga's defense was much better than Floyds also

No they wouldn't. Margo is too easy to hit and dodge...and I like PW but for as many punches as he does throw a lot of them are off balance and wide.
