To be honest, is that a bad thing, seeing Romeo's interviews with Lillis pre fight and Bunce post fight, he seemed to be very nervous at being interviewed that he couldn't put a sentence together.
please tell me your joking, i think if there is one thing he don't lack, its confidence ... his already done a few interviews with him, but i agree in a sense that less he talks the better.
Oh I agree, he is a confident kid with his showman antics, when it comes to talking though I thought he struggled to find his words, but yes, the less he talks the better! I (and like a few others on here it would seem) have a feeling he will be found out very quickly so maybe we won't being seeing much of him in anycase!
Kugan does a great job for British boxing and has a laugh with the fighters, wouldn't say he's an attention ***** at all.
Have to agree with above post, whatever you say about kugan and I realise he is hit and miss and i prefer james helder by a mile ,I dont think these boys contributions to both the fighters and the fans can be denied. Everyone goes on about the matchroom love in which personally i dont mind i find there content with that something different to what sky offer, lets not forget these guys are up and down the country from covering wembley to more importantly covering the small hall shows and going to visit the small hall fighters who don't normally get exposure the lifebed of the sport. These lads work hard and are just like anyone else trying to build up a business im guessing making a loss in the process and yet not asking us fans for anything.Absolutely lucky to have these boys doing there things and i find it incredible that for what is essentially a free service for us fans anybody complains whatsoever. Iv met james helder a few times through a boxer friend of mine leon and genuinely happy to chat away about boxing and no ego whatsoever just a fan who believes that the content on boxing offered by mainstream media on offer is tired and dated.Whatsmore whenever I bore him offering any feedback on ifl seems genuinely delighted that people are interested in the site.Wish them nothing but success and romeo is an absolute idiot getting the hump with these guys.Im guessing at this stage of career he needs IFL more than the other way round.
Aye, have been around kugan and he seemed sound. Looking at twitter the little **** seems to think that kugan said he bought twitter followers (considering he has more than double the number mikkel Kessler has, about 50% more than george groves before the first froch fight, near 40k more than kevin Mitchell, near 10k more than luke Campbell, bit more than malignaggi and 20k more than nathan cleverly), which in all honesty is ****ing obvious that he's bought them, but as I said before the lad is a little **** who many seem to want to get sparked right out (a little dance after the first dance would be nice after the ko), wouldn't be surprised if wazza signed him as he'd sell tickets from people wanting to see him get a beating
I actually met the kid the day before Froch-Groves 2, just happened to bump into him at the train station, he was on his way to Kings Cross for a fight but he failed to make weight. Had a quick chat with him and to be fair came across as a pleasant enough lad but have to agree, he wasn't a great talker.
I think Kugan put out a tweet a few weeks ago mentioning that fighters had bought twitter followers, Romeo took that as mugging him off (well he has bought twitter followers ) and wouldn't do an interview. He had like 2,000 twitter followers a few months ago, it's obvious he's bought them
Crikey mate- out of order if true. Ive seen pics of him when he was younger all arnie'd up posing and all that. And I also know a few dickheads at club level who juice up. Theres absolutely zero testing at grass roots level either. Very dangerous.
