There's a HUGE disparity in the Quality of HW's today vs back then. This highlight proves it.

Also these two guys were not champions. just very good contenders. I do think Lyle would give a nightmare to Wlad and have a war with Vitali. Shavers is hard to say

you gotta love Lyle, he went ape**** crazy and all-out wars against the #1 and #2 heavyiest hitting heavyweights of all time and gave us the most brutal and pure slugfest ever.

foreman should've accepted to fight for a rematch in the 90s when lyle came back. that would've been very intriguing to say the least.

Have You seen size difference with Foreman? Wlad\Vitaly - bigger than Foreman.

How do you know? They are much smaller not faster and definitely nothing special in technique department. They were tough and they were bangers. Thats it. 70-th is most evenly matched Era. Thats what makes Eras so good were you have drama and eve match ups. It doesn't mean that they are better. If I showed you Brester against Lyakhovich\Krasniki in black and white(and you haven't seen it before) would you say that they both suck? Or would you tell the difference from 70th?

And they definitely have more heart then both klitschkos. And by evenly matched I hope you mean stacked. The klitschkos dont have the great opposition like ali frazier foreman and holmes did.

I could tell the difference because its not just black and white that makes me think "oh these fighters aren't any good".

Lyle and Shavers would definitely get to the klitschkos. Shavers I have my doubts but Lyle definitely would.

By the way the size difference isnt that big. Just a few inches.

It seems evertime Lyle would get hit with a bomb, he got madder.
You could see the fans in that place........just going wild.
    Now that was a bombfest.

Kind of makes you forget that Shavers lost to Bob Stallings.
