Pretty sure I'm a lot more familiar with Tua than you are. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/ike-ibeabuchi-v-deontay-wilder.596742/page-2 The man was an undefeated knockout artist and still being hyped as perhaps the next big thing in heavyweight boxing at the time of the Ike fight. Ike is still the only person to survive going toe-to-toe and slugging it out with Tua in his prime.
So basically a guy who fought well against an ATG before he got ktfo qualifies more than a guy who holds 2 solid victories over good fighters?
You think refs are always 100% correct in their stoppages? All you do in an argument is say "Well all these posters on boxingforum24 and other people whose opinions doesn't matter, agree with me so I'm right" Next time don't respond with fallacious logic please.
So David Tua was "exposed" in two fights in which he knocked out 6'3/225lb+ opponents? Ok then, in your opinion, how many times was Marciano exposed in his career before getting his title shot? 3? 4? 5??
I see that you ignored the wins of lyle that i pointed.you ignored it because this part .Was going to destroy your crappy answer. I told you. "THE WINS OF LYLE OVER BUGNER,BONAVENA AND SHAVERS ARE AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THE WINS OF IKE OVER BYRD AND TUA" But curiously you ignored it and just mentioned his fight with foreman
It is funny that you call tua now "good fighter" because this comes in your interests now.you are one of the biggest tua's detractors o this forum hands down. I have seen you calling tua a bum tons of times
Yes, he was exposed. They provided a blueprint on what strategy was effective against Tua and how to beat him. Do you just look at the outcomes of fights and not even care about what actually goes on during the 3 minute sessions of fighting? For Marciano I'd have to say he was exposed probably twice prior to getting a title shot. Against Lowry and LaStarza. Here I'm relying entirely on what the reports say. It's hard to say any more because we don't have film of the overwhelming majority of his pre-title fights. If I may ask, what does Marciano have to do with this? That's a rather strange thing to bring up because for the life of me I don't see how Marciano connects to Ron Lyle OR Ike Ibeabuchi.
