i thought souza was very good for the first time seeing him in action, and i just found out hes the one getting ko'ed by that upkick from mousasi.

i just peeped that mousasi-jacare fight and i would favor jacre in a rematch.

I think Mousasi is the next big thing in MMA along with Jose Aldo. Jacare was handling him prior to that up-kick, though. He is just too dominant on the ground. If he can learn from that loss he should be a hell of a force in the near future as well.

I don't think Jacare was handling him. Mousasi had him tentative early on, Jacare made a couple of desperate take down attempts from too far out but got a hold of Mousasi on the second or third attempt and then slammed him down. He then held him tight in a negative way; if that went on for too long they would have been stood up. As soon as he opened up Mousasi began to escape and was successful, Jacare went after him and got put to sleep with the up kick. You can see Mousasi shifting here and there waiting for the escape. When the moment presented itself he took it.

I think a Jacare flaw is he can be a touch wreckless. Maybe more wreckless when he has them on the ground because standing he looks okay/calmer/more technical. On the ground, I have a feeling he is too confident with his ability.
