Valuev won altough it was close, some rounds Ruiz was landing the cleaner punches and I think it should have been called a KD in the 2nd,with that there is a case.

I'm one that rarely agrees with Scar, and as I said, I'm speculating this fight was a robbery because I saw scored the first fight clearly for Ruiz on the basis of which Scar is talking about.....(Valuev just pushing a jab out there without much venom if any behind it)
.....in that first fight, in many instances Valuev would miss with the jab, pull it back less than a foot, and from a non-cocked position where he could'nt possibly get any leverage on it, he'd tap Ruiz with it on the forehead while doing zero damage.....I suspect that same happened here.

Damon D. is telling me otherwise, that those jabs were moving Ruiz.
.....for that, I'd have to see for myself.

....I dont care if the judges were German or not, they were in Germany, and a split decision there, even if there were three Latino judges would smell bogus to me.

This is the way I saw the fight and by the gods I am no Valuev lover.

Valuev established the jab and now and then hit with the power hand. Ruiz landed bombs now and then but without any notable effect. The thing in the second round was a slip, if you look closer even the referee saw the wet spot on the floor. Valuev clinched more than Ruiz but Ruiz tended to run into Valuev head down with wild haymakers. That is neither ring agression nor dominance. Most of the time Valuev hit with his jab (and when looking at Ruiz expression after such a jab hit you see that the hurt)

To cut a long story short, I had:

    Ruiz 5 rounds
    Valuev 7 rounds
-1 Round due to point deduction

    Valuev leading with 1 round.

Ruiz looking exhausted after the 4th?, that's some funny **** right there. Valuev might be known for his stamina but I just didn't see it here, maybe being "known" for it got you think he's not tired?, the man was clearly tired late and even the commentators pointed it out. He could be known for being an alien for what I care, that wouldn't affect what I SAW. If Ruiz was tired from the 4th then explain why he was still throwing and landing big punches all the way to the 12th with Valuev throwing ****ing jabs and ONLY jabs in return?, you can't win a fight throwing jabs when your opponent is throwing big punches and landing them.

If Ruiz was exhausted, and stamina is Valuev's best asset, why was this fight even close???:huh

Exactly what I was asking earlier How can you give rounds to a guy using a jab when that Jab is not knocking the smaller man back its not doing damage, yet Ruiz was doing damage with bigger shots, I didnt get to see the full fight but it was pretty clear that Ruiz won it IMO close but he was the aggressor and he landed harder shots, this was also the case in their first fight, But look where they fought at both times.

Exactly, I saw this fight knowing it was going to be a robbery anyway but can't help but getting pissed off when I see a man training his BALLS off, staying away from his family FOR MONTHS for TWO fights he has to MOVE OUT of his country for yet gets robbed twice, can't support that **** even if I hated Ruiz, which I don't.

Please watch the championship rounds and come tell me Valuev wasn't tired, even a BLIND man would have noticed it.

Robbery? LOL. You want to talk about robbery? Robbery is when Ruiz got the decision over Golota. THAT (me fellow ESB member) IS ROBBERY!

Yes, that was a robbery and I agree with it, was here talking about it too. The difference here is that I try my best not to judge based on who I like but what I see, doesn't work perfect most of the time but I try my best and I can't find a single thing that would suggest Valuev did more in this fight.

2 of the judges gave Valuev 116 points despite the point deduction

I have just returned from the fight arena.Their second encounter was more fun to watch than their first one.Valuev won their second encounter fair and square.Valuev's jab was great, but I was quite surprised to see Valuev out of puff within the last few rounds of his encounter with Ruiz.
Couldnt believe my ears when Buffer announced the official scorecards! One blind judge had Ruiz ahead on points after 12 rounds. He must have watched a different fight.
Seldom did Ruiz connect with any meaningful punch.Yes,he had his moments, but he also took some good and stiff jabs from Valuev.
Anyway! Guess that Ruiz will soon start whinning calling the outcome of his second encounter a robbery once again.

By the way the most exciting fight of today's fight card in Germany's capital was Dettweiler vs Coc. A true crossroad fight with two even matched young heavies.Great and very entertaining fight! Could have gone either way! Far more fun to watch than Valuev vs Ruiz or Pianeta vs Gammer.

Dont know if its been mentioned, but the originally split decision in favor of Valuev, has now been amended to a UD.

What the heck happened?....I dont know, but the fact that they're changing scorecards just smells of fowlness to me!
