Roy Jones Comeback fight

It is his life if you dont want to see him fight all you have to is do is not support it. I don't think it is right for him to have to go out after that ridiculous Danny green episode. He is an ATG. His style just didn't age the well the way B-Hop did.

RJJ needs to leave the sport...he should go into commentating or some other aspect...training...but certainly not a fighter..his skills are diminished and he cant hang with the top fighters

My god where did you hear this? I was even with him fighting on after the Green fiasco. But after the horrible Hopkins fight (where Roy could've beaten Bernard but couldn't pull the trigger) even I wanted him to retire.

This is sad. An open cut. Once it starts to scab over he rips it right back off.

hahahha. Roy was done when he fought Calslappy. DOn't even try that revisionist history. Roy ruined himself when he went up and then down in weight. Then after Tarver landed that ko (eyes closed).. roy was officially done.

Joe feisted on Roy's remains and still got put down in the 1st round.

 

I seriously can't watch RJJ fight anymore, it breaks my heart to see him, especially when he gets KO'd.

 

Roy is probably my favourite fighter ever but I made a point of not watching the Hopkins rematch. After the Danny Green fight, I decided enough was enough. It's a real shame Roy didn't hang 'em up at the right time...

 

Too late he's already done that. It sucks I being a Roy fan I just want him to retire so bad but I'll always root for him like I have been. I'll always be a fan of Roy.

No sarcasm. I apologize if it came out that way toffeejack. I'm just being real. Can't say Roy was ruined by Calzaghe. Did he wear Roy out even more than he already was? sure. But to say Joe ruined Roy is like saying Roy was in his prime kicking ass until he ran into Joe and history tells a different story.

 

I wish he would retire before he gets the marble mush mouth syndrome ala James Toney, Thomas Hearns and Evander Holyfield. Maybe if he gets his ass brutalized for 10 out of 12 rounds he will...nope that happened, ...maybe if he gets knocked out in the first round...happened already, I think he needs to go out on a stretcher, then he'll retire.

 

Where did anybody hear about this fight? I can"t find any info about it other than on this forum?
