I voted no but the truth is somewhere in between I'm sure. After his amazingly fast reflexes got a bit aged he wasn't able to avoid or even see the heavy punches coming as easily as he used to. There's also a bit of truth to the fact that once a chin has been checked it a bit easier to check it next time.
List these big punchers that Jones has been hit flush by ? Because one of the arguements about Roy's chin is that he avoided big punchers his entire career.

that video does not prove anything. It has John Ruiz in it for christ sakes. Ruiz had not had a KO in over 3 YEARS before the Jones fight and that is why he was handpicked. Who has Ruiz ever KOed? Nobody. Jones was knocked down by Lou Del Valle, out by Tarver and out cold by Glen Johnson. He also avoided power punchers like the plague. He has a Glass Jaw.
That was right after Tarver. It is common that after being knocked out that way they can't take the same kind of punch. Nothing to do with jaw, he couldn't take head shots the same. it was a brain injury.
