The teenage nuthuggers on this site amaze me when the topic of Roid Jones comes up because it's readily apparent with all the "prime Roy was unbeatable" talk that they never actually watched him in his prime. Was he supremely talented and athletic? Yes, he was, but he never had any semblance of a Chin, he ducked the best power punchers of his era, padded his resume with a litany of police officers, garbagemen, and municipal workers, and cherrypicked his way to a lot of titles from titleholders who didn't mean ****. He is a Glass Jawed Joke and a disgrace to boxing and the twilight of his career has been justice and karma served for his blatant ducking of guys like Benn, Eubank, G-Man, etc.
