I'm no boxing expert, but I believe there is a SLIGHT difference between John Ruiz & JOE LOUIS! The Louis who just got knocked out by Marciano could have gotten up & STILL taken care of Jones.

Ignore Rico, he is a RJJ hater, however RJJ is too small to beat Louis, I think he would have his moments but Louis would eventually overpower him and brutally KO him at some point, both are ATGs but Louis is bigger and better, IMHO.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread I rank Roy Jones as the greatest boxer since Duran, the best of the last 25 years and one of the greatest ever.


But he's not a heavywt.

It was a great achievement to defeat even a pedestrian champion like Ruiz, on account of th enatural size difference.

But at their primes, Tyson, Lewis, Foreman, Louis, Ali and Holmes, to name a few, would destroy Roy.

 

And Frazier and Marciano would have chase Jones out of the ring.
