In 1989 Roy Jones weighed 155 for a fight against Stephan Johnson in his second pro fight. He also won the 1988 Olympics at junior middle.

It got me thinking what would have happened had this version of Roy would have dealt with the version of Floyd that beat De La Hoya.

I know H2H Roy Jones is too big for Floyd, but im asking because of the respective times in their careers.

At this stage Roy had only had one pro fight....had never gone 12 rounds. Whilst Floyd had fully grown into a Strong Welterweight and was an extremely experienced pro. I give the edge to Jones simply because of his athletic talent and greater size......but it would be fascinating to see how Jones would have done with absolutely no experience. He would have to rely on his innate ability alone!!

    Thoughts??
(Bear in mind....I only give Floyd a slight chance because of the respective stages of the careers I propose)

I think 147 isn't mayweather best weight so 154 just makes it worse so Jones

Roy... Even at that stage, He was to big, fast and strong for PBF, who is naturally much smaller.

I see no way of matching these two in my mind due to the massize size difference.

Roy Jones Jr. made a career out of schooling orthodox defensive boxers.
