I think we can know. A guy who is inside the top 50 ATG. Fighting a guy who would be struggling to get in the top 500 ATG. One weight division apart. Yeah, we can know exactly how that one will turn out.
Obviously Jones is favourite what I mean is we will never know for sure. Haye is a huge puncher and Jones chin isnt brilliant.
I'm neither a fan of Jones or Haye. But u have 2 look @ realistically. How many opponents did Roy fight that had Haye's power and speed?! A prime Jones should win but the 1 now gets KO'D!
Nowadays Roy would obviously get KO'd. Prime Jones bulking up, not the fighter who beat Ruiz but prime untouchable Jones would be just that. Roy avoided being hit by faster fighters than Haye, no reason that he couldnt land a massive counter and lay Haye out assuming Roy has all his relfex's. To suggest Haye (who is one of my favorite fighters) would easily lay out Jones at his best is ignorent.
Who on earth did Jones fight in his 'prime' that had the speed and power of Haye @ 200 pounds? The answer? NOBODY Jones was never in a dog fight in his career and he will be in one with Haye. I think Haye beats any version of Jones.
haye wuld beat jones fairly easy i think to strong very fast and wuld take jones power, cause it aint what it once was. plus haye wuld just stalk him down wuld b a gd fyt 1 i wuld like to see.
i thought this thread was dead long ago, Haye knocks him the **** out, haye would be there for 12 freakin rounds, jones as awsome as he was would not avoid a punch for that long.
