    Watkins entered with a 12-9-2 (5) record and was ranked #237 on BoxRec, and yet, had that round ended uneventfully, had fought on even enough terms that you could argue it deadlocked at 57 apiece through six. :patsch

    ...but Jones is gunning for a payday with a Huck?

    Shane is getting progressively creepier as he ages. Now borderline Cosby.

    What used to be endearing in his youth (chipmunk-cheeked "Aw gosh" smiling and soft-spokenness) now just makes him seem like the guy you want to keep away from your tween daughter.

    He weighed in less than Kayode when they fought, just three years ago. He packed on 20lbs of muscle to compete at heavyweight but I don't see why he couldn't make cruiser. He didn't "outgrow" it (he was already 36, hardly a growing boy!); he went up to chase paydays @ HW.

    If there was a suitable payday (and unfortunately Tarver vs. Jones IV would sell, perhaps even better than any heavyweight fight Tarver can realistically land) he could slim back down with no problem I'm sure.

    I don't know about that.

    He packed on 20 pounds of weight, but not muscle. He looked in awful shape at 217 for Cunningham. The bigger he is, the more lathargic he is. I understand that he's fighting at a weight where most of the guys are huge, but he'd fare a lot better if he was lighter in my opinion. But at this stage, I think he'd find it really hard to drop down to 200 and below.
