No Hopkins win v Trinidad was a fantastic achivement imo and a decent fight hats went off to him at the time but Tito had to come up for it to happen its not like Bernard went south .

You say Rubbish but come on calzaghe fought and beat some very good fighters along the way former and current champs from what i suspect you feel the better orgs . ie Lacy for the IBF and Kessler for the WBA & WBC .

as for Glenn Johnson well yes you do have a point that Glenn is the only man to have a legit claim that Joe ducked him through injury but consider Glenn had been beaten a few times prior to this fight not happening , DO YOU THINK CALZAGHE WAS SCARED OF JOHNSON ? lol

No Joe would not have been scared of Glen Johnson. He would have beaten Johnson for sure imo although Johnson gives most elite level fighters a tough nights work.
Personally i think Calzaghe was a very special fighter it's just that for someone so good his resume should be better imo. You might say that everyone ducked him and it's not his fault at all but i would say that there is two sides to every story and Joe certainly played his part in these matchups not being made.
Also i think Frank Warren being Joe's manager definately was a factor for Calzaghe not fighting guys on his level until the later part of his career.

Josey mate i love your passion 4 Joe............ i'm a massive Calslappy fan, but to say Pavlik ducked him then fought Hopkins doesn't seem right.

Of course Joe's record could have been better but take in consideration his hands were ****ed as far back as his amature days . plenty of fights fell through because of this .

I know Kel but post Lacy fight Pavlik was offered the fight in the august but his manager came on ESB and declared he wasn't ready for Calzaghe, he then went on to fight Lenord Pierre and Calzaghe fought Sakio Bika in the October ( i think ) i know it sounds nuts when you consider Kelly went onto fight Jermain Taylor twice and Bernard Hopkins but i think this rejection pissed Calzaghe off thats why he didn't give Pavlik the big fight pre retirement and fought Roy Instead . I would have loved to have seen Calzaghe v Pavlik , If Pavlik had trouble with Hopkins speed Joe imo would have Lacy'd him or something similar .

Full of **** as usual. :happy

The only correct thing you have said is that calzaghe would have won. Joe was having trouble always making 12 stone and wanted to step up pre kessler and fight bhop. He also wanted rjj on his record and a fight at msg. Why would he avoid pavlik for being pissed off by that logic the bhop fight would not have happened. The answer is money, there was just as much for fighting rjj as there was for kelly. Your welcome :deal.

Instead of posting on here you could just open word and type your drivel there so you are not subjecting real fans to your **** but can get it out of your system.

Next you will be claiming that you know him etc etc I bet as soon as he struggled he notified you.

Again you are posting something out of context and not in my words and anyway you said yourself he should drop 2 years ago :patsch.

Just because I shoot down your comments and lies on calzaghe and mundine issues doesn't make me dross.

I'm open to sensible boxing debate with anyone who can hold a sensible, mature and valid argument so that excludes you.

    Keep embarrassing yourself :happy:roll:
