On paper, yes. But Tyson is one heck of a motivated individual when he is thinking straight.

    Ruiz isn't.

This guy is disappointment! But it appears haymon made that call!

Ruiz is that dumb friend you could just constantly take advantage of and turn against the world!

I read the whole article, it was in my country media 2 days ago. Its said Haymon advised him. He could refuse to split with him, right ? He is not a boy.

Surely the blob could have got himself down to 267lbs? Even at that grotesque weight, can't be that hard to trim off a crate full of tacos. , lol.

Ruiz - at this point - might be an un-trainable fighter for anyone out there.

It isn't. Haymon got him a Dimitrenko fight and he looked to be going nowhere until he won the Joshua sweepstakes after the walking chemistry set that was Big Baby Miller tested positive for several different PEDs. He then pulled the upset and was contractually obliged to rematch Joshua.

Him having a massively financially successful 2019 had sweet FA to do with being a Haymon fighter and you'd have to be an oddball to try to attribute much of this to Ruiz being involved with him.

Stupidest post! Andy got himself the Joshua fight! If anything he should have dumped haymon because he became a household name!

the rematch was not gotten by haymon but it was a clause in the contract that Eddie Hearn immediately exercised!

He's gone through a bunch of trainers. There is probably a reason for it.

Yea, the real fault is on Ruiz.
But what´s the point in continuing to work with Robles? Ruiz has had many lacklustre performances over the years.
There was a need for change and now there finally is one. Will it work? Who the **** knows. But it´s better than doing things the same way again.

Simply put Ruiz is a talented but lazy, indisciplined and clearly dimwitted embarrassing slob.

They had to do something. Maybe they try a different trainer and try to get Ruiz in a tightly controlled, disciplined environment.

It's probably Ruiz last chance. He either gets it together or will soon be a 320lb diabetes patient and not a boxer.
