    What a pathetic post,

it is a boxing forum he overstepped the mark so he deserves the ban.

To be fair i agree with Twenty
Set cutthroat free for the night
Add the day back on to his ban Sunday after maybe

Its the biggest fight of the year and regardless of bans its a shame to see any decent forum user miss the run up and fight night itself

Can he not just setup an alt like the trolls do on here?

What did he even get banned for? Others seem to get off scot-free...

He hasn’t gotta clue what he’s done, he’s just trying to give it the big un on Internet. Could have made his point just as succinctly without the ‘pathetic post’ bit imo.

I think Cutthroat has ripped a few of Degales posts this year so probably down to that :risas3:

My first post here so first of all hello!
Really looking forward to this fight; I think it’s genuinely 50-50 and will be a spectacular event.

My take on the 1st fight, ignoring all of the rumours; when Joshua came out – ring walk and in the ring itself – just did not seem to be his usual self. He seemed really disconnected and not really up for it. I said so at the time. I think in interviews subsequently it’s obvious that he lacked motivation for that fight after Miller was pulled out so late. (Not an excuse nor even a reason; plenty of people don't train/ prepare for a fight for whatever reason. He lost- end of).

Started pretty even and when he dropped Ruiz it seemed to be just a matter of time. He then left himself wide open to the punch that landed on the top of his head and from my perspective he never appeared to actually recover from that punch. Neither punch was lucky; both deliberately threw them!

I think Ruiz did very well to keep the pressure on and keep banging away. I was quite surprised about his engine and the fact that he didn’t gas.

I actually think that Joshua did very well to last as long as he did and I really do not understand the suggestions that he either quit or didn’t show heart as to me he seemed to just keep on getting back up after taking quite a severe beating after that 1st punch from which he never recovered.

But - What. An. Epic. Fight. !

As regards the 2nd fight, Joshua is obviously going to come in quite a bit lighter probably around 17 stone. Ruiz is going to be probably a little lighter but not much; why would he change the thing that worked on the 1st occasion? Ruiz trainer I think gave a very honest assessment in the sense that they recognise that it is a fight that will cause problems and they will have to weather any difficulties; I think that both fighters recognise (as they should) that any heavyweight can be knocked out. Joshua has clearly made changes in camp including proper rather than technical sparring. In interviews he has referred to the fact that he was doing a lot of promotional work before; effectively 3 months in the gym 3 months promotional work where is this time he has now done 6 months in the gym exclusively. Hopefully quite a lot of that has worked on endurance and stamina because he quite clearly was too bulky and didn’t have the ability to maintain threshold output over a long distance. Indeed all the training that you would previously see him doing was explosive high-intensity stuff which is fine provided you get rid of your opponent early on.

I think that Joshua will aim to dominate with the jab and take his time. I think that he will try to pick his shots more and this time not rush in. I think his gameplan will be to tire Ruiz with a combination of stiff jabs, movement and one-two combinations both to the head and body and the gameplan will be to then remove the movement such that Ruiz in the later rounds is more susceptible to the uppercut which worked 1st time round. I actually think that this plan will win the day.

From Ruiz point of view he now knows that he can definitely hurt Joshua and I think that he will recognise that he needs to pressure from the off and not allow Joshua to dominate with the jab. If he can upset and spoil Joshua then it's v v interesting.

I hope the referee doesn’t prove to be a problem; I’m aware of his past record particularly.

Really tasty fight. Really looking forward to it. Happy for the best man to win but as a Brit backing Joshua.

Undercard also looking interesting particularly the Hunter v Povetkin fight which is again a real 50-50 in my opinion.
Good night of boxing - and on at a good time too so brownie points at home.

And by the way I agree.....

I liked how AJ spoke in the presser. He seems pretty relaxed to me. I went for Ruiz in the poll but I’m starting to sway back a bit towards AJ.
