Please let these rumors be true!

Twitter is overflowing with rumors that Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort will fight in the co-main event of UFC 156.

UFC 156 is scheduled to take place in Brazil on 19 January 2013. The city has not been determined, but Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo are under consideration.

Bisping vs. Belfort would be a co-main, with UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar already announced.

If Bisping does manage to survive the initial onslaught and get the win though, I dont think anyone would disagree that he has earned a title shot.

If he does its hard to deny him that he can only beat who they match him with and he has done everything asked. I really think even if Bisping does survive Belforts onslaught will he be able to make Vitor pay for gassing? He can be passive and might let Vitor get his 2nd wind.

Good fight and very impressive win for Bisping but its a huge ask and possibly an unclimable mountain.

Unless Vitor can shut him down inside of a round I can only see Bisping taking a UD
