The OP is a cool dude but puh-lease... I doubt JCC Jr's handlers would even let him spar GGG... Let alone fight him! That would be lunch... A light one to boot for the G man!
I asked him on twitter what did he think about fighting GGGay and he does not reply... It's a fight that I want to see: a total slugfest and non stop war... On the paper a FOTY candidate. But I don't think this fight is coming. We don't know anything about his suspension yet.
They've already sparred before and Golovkin was the better man at that time. I don't get why the hate or name calling towards Golovkin. GGG is a humble WARRIOR. I don't see what there is not to like about the guy.
The hype behind GGG is just to much, clearly he has talent but so does Broner, Canelo and Rigo imagine if there fans acted like GGG fans, they are going to make him hated like *******s did to Pacquiao. JCC Jr lost to a top 3 p4p guy so he is a bum?
Fight Will not happen even with a World Title on offer, the silence is deafening from these so called Top Middleweights,F*cking Pussies the lot of them.!!!!!
All the reason for Junior to duck this dude! Golovkin is the real deal... Im excited to see him climb the ranks! :yep
there is nothing special about chavez jr, he is just too big for his weight class, i doubt he can beat GGG.
the hate because of His fans, I like ggg to and his style but they take hyping to New levels like they always do, Bute lemiex khan, let's hope ggg is finally the goods.
What do Bute, Lemieux and Khan have to do with Golovkin?!? :blood I believe he's the real thing, and Maravilla's successor as the middleweight king.
This. If Chavez jumps into the shark tank that is 168, he will be starched. A potential fight against GGG would be awesome. I see GGG winning, Chavez doesn't have much defensive skills and like mid distance or infighting. Martinez could outbox him from the outside, GGG is more skilled in the middistance with much better balance than Chavez. I highely doubt that Chavez could eat GGG's punches for 12 rounds without significantly shortening his career..
A few months later I got a phone call from the producer of a Spanish-language sports show, who swore that he witnessed Golovkin "embarrass" Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the Wild Card gym during an open workout held for the Latino media a few weeks before the unbeaten middleweight pulled out of scheduled Dec. 4 card. -Ring Magazine
