That's more what I meant by interesting...rough, nasty exchanges with both guys eating leather. Wasn't necessarily implying that Chagaev was vulnerable to a knockout, unless CDD's carrying a lot more pop than the "just above average" amount he would seem to carry based on the little package vids floating around.

I am deeply intrigued by this fight. I know absolutely nothing about Drummond. He seems like a pretty strong dude from one video I saw of him. But, he has fought pretenders, and that troubles me. So, I expect Chagaev to outbox him. I hope Drummond proves me wrong.

I think it is an interesting fight.
It will be interesting to see how good Drummond is and how long layoff/injuries have affected Chagaev skills.
And for extra exitiment I but little 20€ bet for Drummond.

I bet 5 euro on CDD - he is in shape, he is undefeated, just true underdog ala Ramirez - going across the Atlantic to face "unbeatable" opponent and knowing that this is his only chance to do something out of his boxing carrier. Chagaev had 150+ injuries and this can prove decisive.

Did I mentioned that the fight is on ZDF.

Because you've seen Drumond so many times right?

And Chagaev is so much more boring than Valuev, Ruiz, Briggs, Rahman, and the majority of other recent heavyweight titlists and pretenders, right?

These guys aren't combined for 50-0 with 37 KOs right?

.....and he beat the great Felix Savon twice. That is not such an easy thing to do.

He's a talented guy, and IMO pretty good for the division to boot (relatively anyway, considering all the trash in the top ranks with last names other than Klitschko). He's no Tyson, but again...he's no Ruiz. I don't understand all the hate. :?
