:| No one's ever KHTFO though and Big Daddy deserves a ****ton of credit for that.

That was the first time Chag has ever been dropped too wasn't it?

Browne can bang, no one is denying that. However he has very little skill, and is quite unathletic. He caught Chag with a picture perfect counter, however that doesn't mean he's a world class boxer all of a sudden

I vaguely remember that, wasn't it more of a stumble?

Wlad did drop Chag but I recall someone posting a gif of a different angle of the KD where you could see he stepped on his foot as the punch landed.

Chag was down in the amateurs once, in the Olympics I think.

He was fine. He's always had a hell of a beard. This is someone who fought the fearsome hitting Felix Savon 3 times and wasn't off his feet. He beat Savon twice, aged just 19 one of the times. He also took everything a prime and very on form Wlad dished out too. Took bombs from other huge hitters as well, like Volodymyr Vyrchys. Even though he's past his best those uppercuts Browne landed numerous times would've flattened most HWs.

Chag ate quite a few big shots from Big Daddy, who hits very hard.

Do you know why Virchis retired for good that early at the pros?????
With a good coach he would have been able to beat quite a lot of the big boys then.
I would always have bet my money on a prime Virchis in a fight against a prime Lucas Browne.
I guess he watched tonight's fight and had similar thoughts.
I still remember when his German promoter matched-against his and Chagaev's will-with his friend and stable mate Chagaev.Hardly any punch was thrown up till the very last round.Chagaev did a little bit more in that last one and got the victory.

Just timed the 6th round - 3:16 before the bell went, then Chagaev went on a few punches after that. VERY dodgy
Massive props to Browne - great chin and boxed way better than I thought he was capable of

No idea, mate. Virchis was a big slow lump but he had very heavy hands indeed.

Been years since I saw that fight and I don't remember much about it. It was in 2006, a few days shy of a decade from today. Just goes to show how long Chagaev has been around because he turned pro in 1997.
