God... Mora is such an ass. He's ranting and raving about a big strong KO artist like Murata, slightly hurting GGG to the body, before GGG came back the next round, took over, and comprehensively beat a strong as an ox Murata senseless after a 16 month layoff, a day after his 40th birthday. Sure, that might not bode well for GGG against Canelo, but Canelo won't be bringing that kind of pressure or volume that early either. The reality is, GGG had one and a half not great rounds. Get a grip.

Yeah, sure... I don't believe you. You resented it, because for some reason you can't seem to process reality very well sometimes. People say Loma is one of the most skilled fighters ever, because he is. Get your Loma hate under control, it's causing you to root for profoundly unlikable vomitus assholes, and yes... you were rooting for him, and was praising him after the win.

Give Ryan a chance, I didn't like him at first either. Then I thought it over, and examine what my reasoning for disliking the kid was, and I couldn't really come up with one, other than the hype. Well... when you're an incredibly handsome fighter and an exciting KO artist. How is it his fault that the promoters want to shove him down everyone's throats? They'd do that with anyone else in his position. Hell, they even do it with ugly ones like Lopez and Berlanga.

No, it doesn't. You do understand that people don't have shoulder surgery for ****s and giggles right? Loma was legitimately injured before the fight, was uber cautious and played it safe because of that. Didn't want to blow anything early, and risk taking a TKO loss on an injury. Then came roaring back to dominate the vast majority of the second half of the fight. Had Loma had a little more confidence beforehand, pressed the issue and not bought into the threat of Fimo's power. He wouldn't have that blemish on his record. That being said, judging by the look of those scorecards, Loma was goin to get robbed anyway, so it might not have mattered.

It's an uphill battle to convince someone that they have psychoanalyzed you incorrectly. So you don't believe me and you have your reasons for that. It is what it is.

I used to hate on Ryan too. The kid made me a fan after he dismantled Luke Campbell. Aside from that one slip up where he kept his hands down(to block what he thought was a body shot), the kid looked like the real deal.

It has been disappointing though that he didn't fight Jojo or Fortuna, and is fighting some random African dude that's going to get knocked out badly, but this kid is definitely a threat to anyone with his speed and power. I wonder if Reynoso really helped him improve that much and if he can carry that over with Goosen, or if he's just going to mentally fall apart. Tagoe won't be the fighter that'll answer those questions though.

Oh, for the probably zero percent of you wondering (unless someone is on my level of borderline crippling nerdiness :sisi1) about the Mosley middle name, since SSM is listed alternated as "Shane Andre Mosley" and "Shane Donte Mosley" at various sources (Wikipedia and BoxRec respectively) - rest assured that the latter is accurate, as there is a motor vehicle small claims court case in Pomona from 2010 involving a 19 year old Jr. as defendant with grandpa Jack also named, and the legal documents have his full name as seen in the RBR title.

Or... maybe I have psychoanalyzed you correctly, and you can't adequately argue the inarguable.:sisi1

Dude, once you go down the psychoanalytical route you tend to dig in pretty deep. No hard feelings, but you tend to be immovable once you play that card. I actually enjoy it when you do it to a poster I loathe.

Yeah, that was a legit letdown, but I don't doubt he was dealing with serious mental health issues. I doubt he feared either of those two. He'd have taken out both of them, Fortuna early and JoJo late. Neither of them really posed as big a stylistic or power threat as Luke did. Also, at that age, sometimes kids can crumble. Hell, as tough as I am, I was even struggling at that age with my own issues. Not from a lack of confidence, just life beating me down. And I didn't have all the attention adn fame to have to deal with.

I'm a little worried about Goosen being his trainer, I love Joe as a person and think he's a solid commentator, but I've never rated him all that highly at his day job. Although he's not bad at training offense minded fighters. So there's a slight possibility that he could turn Ryan into an absolute killing machine. But he could also end up making him more vulnerable to getting KTFO in the process.

Who was the last high profile boxer Goosen trained? The last one I can remember was John Molina.

Not really, remember.. I'm the mutable one here. I actually have several different observations and takes with you. You're way too complicated to adequately sum up in a paragraph or two. But you already know that, since I've basically already written several term papers on you.:sisi1

The last one I remember that he hooked up with was Lipinets, and that didn't turn out very well did it?
