Bro, there aren't many if any boxers that have more heart than Khan, he actually had too much heart at times
His heart was missing when he fought Crawford and took the easy way out when he got punched in the thigh he was constantly turning away from shots and a cowardly way. He over achieved in his career but he was willing to fight the best
The Crawford fight was an anomaly, Khan's heart is no longer in the sport, he wanted to get some easy money, he knew he'd never beat Crawford
I kind of see your point but if you have heart you don't go out like that, you can't switch it on and off you don't control it it controls you
Gotta give the kid some time. He is still growing but I think that he will turn into a fine fighter. I can see him winning a title or two but that's about it.
Looks like a cross between a 50s matinee idol, an ostrich and a geeky teenager and hasn't fought anyone but he's got blazing fast hands and his power so far at least appears to be of the exceptional variety. Look what he did to Fonseca who he iced in a under a round, that's the same Fonseca who it took Twink 7 rounds and plenty of bombs to get out of there and even then he could only finish him on a foul. Garcia iced Fonseca out cold voodoo style with a solitary left hook from hell.

All of this stuff applies, plus maybe being uncoachably stubborn (García didn't listen to Goossen's corner advice; while Khan was sort of known for trainer-hopping and not finding real chemistry with anybody he worked under...since ditching Mick Jelley from his amateur days, he went through all the following in the pros: Oliver Harrison, Dean Powell, Roger Mayweather, Jorge Rubio, Freddie Roach, Virgil Hunter, Joe Goossen, and back to Hunter). The comparison falls apart, though, when you get to another major component of Khan the fighter, second only to (if not surpassing) handspeed as the major headline about him - and that's his chin. García's is clearly a good deal better. Davis clipping & dropping him with that perfectly timed left uppercut as he came recklessly barging in sweeping a left hook doesn't even remotely suggest that his chin is anything short of very good, particularly since he bounced right up from it. Ditto the Campbell knockdown. Now, where some Khan apologists or García critics (or both) might also say they differ greatly is heart. Khan did sort of have a habit of battling on when hurt where a strategic clinch or creating some distance would've been wiser...and García is going to have that dark cloud hanging over him for a long while barring a redemptive courageous performance versus a big puncher, even though whether he "quit" was a controversial matter and split fan & expert opinion about 50-50.
It's hard to say if the comparison is valid until we see Garcia back in the ring again and how he performs after a loss. After Khan's first embarrassing loss to Breidis Prescott he did manage to win a world title and also beat Marcos Maidana. We have to see what Ryan Garcia does next and if he manages to bounce back and improves.
As far as chin is concerned i think Garcia is better. Took that huge shot from Tank. Yeah he got knocked on his ass but its not like his soul left his body momentarily
