He can start now. Obviously he accepted the fight because he could start training. Again, a laceration takes weeks to heal if it was stitched together. Unless he got another elbow to the exact same spot and opened up again then ok, I can see why they would have to cancel. But we're not stupid, we'll atleast not all of us. The cut is not in a spot you're accustomed to getting punches. The cut isn't even a result of a punch or headbutt. It's the result of a freak accident when a freakishly skinny giant hammered down his elbow on top of Tszyu's head. One month, two months is more than enough time to let a leceration heal.. those are the facts.
intentional or not, tims team will benefit from more prep time. they should realize they are stepping up a level vs ortiz. this kid has one foot in elite territory already, he just needs the opponent to prove it against. beating tim wont make him elite, but it will get his name in the convo. ortiz looks complete, but hasnt faced real adversity or been dragged into a trench for 10 rds. but i have no reason to doubt his heart. his conditioning remains to be seen, have no idea what effect his illness might have had, if anything. team tszyu better have all their ducks in a row going into this fight. this kid not only breaks his opponents, he outboxes them while doing it.
I'm convinced you aren't even a boxing fan. Just someone who wastes all their time pretending to be one.
At least you realize it. Start watching fights. You will actually learn something about the sport and then perhaps even be able to offer educated opinions. That's as constructive as I can put it.
