This is the wrong kind of opponent for Ryder. With his style he is made to measure for Lemieux. Although he has done fantastic recently and really improved. I think that Lemieux catches him and stops him mid rounds.
So, is this happening then or not? last I heard was Eddie saying he was ''negotiating'' with them. And for what its worth, its a very winnable fight for Ryder. Seems to be carrying some POP at SMW
Ryder is one of the few fighters where I’ll support and want to win. Always seems like a nice bloke when he’s jumped on the Boxing Asylum podcast. I thought he beat Arnfield & Fielding with neither going his way. With all that said, I see Lemieux catching up at one point and that’s all she wrote!
In recent years Golovkin and BJS have demonstrated two very different ways in which to beat Lemieux. I like Ryder but I don't think he has it in him to do either.
