Mike beat Robin before she deserved it. In Jose Torres's biography on Tyson (Fire & Fear: Mike Tyson) Mike said that the hardest punch he ever landed was a back hand on Robin and she bounced off all 4 walls. Mike used to offer to carry old ladies' groceries, and when they got into the elevator, Mike would beat the **** out of them and knock their teeth out. Mike is a bad person, and his only getting 24 hours in jail for possension of cocain, D.U.I., and recklessness is BS. The judge said that it is obvious he trying to better himself.atsch

agree with icemmann. Joe Louis getting knocked out cold against the Rock. No ATG let alone one of the top 5 boxers of all-time should ever go out like this. The gov't really screwed him over :-(

You do realise the gun was not pulled on Tyson when he was with the girl?

Atlas came home, his family was upset, they told him Tyson had harrassed his niece, so he grabbed a gun and headed down to the gym.

Atlas was close to killing LaLonde for abruptly abandoning his management, so it's not a stretch to imagine he'd have killed Tyson if he did something serious to his niece, but Tyson was not to know this.

 

First time I'm seeing this one...that's just heartbreaking...perfect example of a picture worth a thousand word...that just tears me up. :-(
