They get to build up a bit of promotion for Bute vs. the winner that way. Also, it probably means they can try to stick Andrade vs. Lucas in a larger venue by putting this on the undercard. Bute has a huge fan base there, and they can probably get more people in seats if they advertise that the winner will face Bute. Also, Andrade and Lucas have decent fanbases there. Plus, it makes it more likely that they'll be able to sell US TV rights to the card. May 28 is a Friday, I suspect they'll try to sell the fight to ESPN, when they would have had difficulty doing so before.

Pepsi Colliseum holds about 14,000. I think they can sell 1,000 more seats this way. Considering Bika really has no fan base at all, and that Brinkley fights in front of 1,000 person crowds in Reno, it probably makes economic sense that Interbox put in a bid and won it.

Saw that one. Brinkley looks to improved in that one. Last fight I saw from Bika was that kid from the contender show. Can't remember his name, but I think the guy that was working Brinkley's corner during his last fight was the kids dad. Why can't I remember the kids name.

Is Bika v Brinkely off? Boxrec doesn't list this one.

Yep, it's off. Look for Brinkley to fight Bute.
