Loma has improved much since his 2nd professional fight ...he is on top of the hill and Salido is on a slippery slope down ! Also, Salido should be forced to wear elbow pads...!!! Salido is a Loser !!!
Loma has gotten a lot better while Salido has gotten a lot older. That Vargas fight most likely took a lot out of Salido, and at this point I think Loma possibly stops Salido in the rematch if it happens.

Lol!! Salido had to foul his was to a SD and was ROCKED and out on his feet in the 12th. The rematch would be a continuation of the 12th round and Solido is getting busted up. Loma gets him out of there in 6 rounds
I would categorize Salido as a tough gatekeeper. One level above journeyman level. Journeymen typically don't have even a decent shot of winning. They are there to give good work and rounds to prospects. Gatekeepers win occasionally or come close to winning against prospects. That said. Lomo should revenge the loss to stop the chatter that he lost to a journeyman.
You know, Salido was highly viewed on this forum up until he broke everybody's heart that one night. I swear, I was one of only a couple that would bash Salido for being a schmuck, and then the famous/best posters on this forum would always come to his defense. Oh how the tables turn so dramatically.
I think Lomachenko will beat Salido very easily in the rematch. As long as there's a fair ref. It'd be a knockout win, probably by mid rounds.
I can see how somebody could be confused and look at his 13 losses and his last official win 2 years ago and say he's a journeyman. He's certainly not the type of fighter that a P4P fighter should lose to. Ever.
He went competitive and arguably beat Vargas/Martinez in his last three fights alone. Both world champs, that alone means he's not a journeyman.. I agree, Loma shouldn't have lost to him but he really was the worst kind of fighter to face for an amateur making pro adjustments. **** happens, he'll beat him easily in the rematch and it will probably happen, it makes sense for both guys.
Funny how people say low blows but the judges scored it. So they must have scored all the other body shots that landed aswell
