Loma keeps improving... even though he lost he is getting better and better... he works very hard... Also, 1 or 2 loses don't mean much... people should stop caring so much if someone loses their '0' Boxing would be more successful if boxers and fans alike didn't look at the '0' as such a significant aspect of boxing... lets get more fights going...
Salido was taking over the fight and looked like he might pull out the victory over Mikey Garcia until the Garcia brothers got the fight stopped on Mikey's broken nose. A very questionable stoppage and unfair to Salido. That said, Loma had figured out Salido by the late rounds and would have won the fight if it had been 15 rounds.
If the ref for their first fight would have done his job correctly, Lomachenko would've won the first fight by DQ.
He tried you autistic freak but Salido priced himself out and ended up getting hurt before the Miura fight. That's why Loma finally got Walters in the ring. Now team Loma will try again to deal with Salido and his diva demands. Seriously; stick to counting Cucknelo's money, that's all you are good for.
Probably even KO. Loma had Salido staggering bad in the 12th and that ****-filth Cole just stepped in front of him for no reason giving Salido time to recover. All Loma's haters ignore this, the 65 low blows Cole allowed and Salido coming in way over the weight limit. Same people who support the courrupt Ward/Kovalev decision ignore all the above in Loma/Salido.
I see you gents ragging on Salido but I think he is a championship caliber fighter. He didn't get the nod against Vargas or Rocky and I respect that but the fights could easily have went either way. Especially the fight with Martinez. He has been a champion and only lost his strap on the scale. I wouldn't label him a journey man or a gate keeper because he has taken a belt and is capable of one again. And holding it.
Salido is all for the rematch. He already spoke on it. Lets make it happen. NOW. Im getting pumped right now just by reading all these posts in here LOL
Salido outgunned a very green professional. You need your head examined if you think there's any possibility Lomachenko hasn't already found methods to dominate such opponents going forward.
Not sure about that. Salido easily got out pointed by a younger JMM and Gamboa when in his primer days. I think he'd get beat just the same against this highly improved version of Lomachenko, but I don't think Loma would stop a younger Salido as he was a very very durable boxer in his earlier days.
Too much is put on their first fight, had Salido not been able to get away with blatant fouls all night he would have lost the decision. The outcome of the fight had more to do with where the fight was held and who the ref was than anything else. Any other ref would have taken points or DQ'ed him for that display, if he stopped the low blows from point deductions Lomachenko wins on points, or possibly stops him considering Cole also hindered Loma from getting the stoppage in the 12th when he got in Vasyl's way when Salido was badly rocked.
