That does not alter the fact that he was over 200 when he fought Jeffries.
No ,you may assume what you like I assume he did not gain 20lbs in a few months to fight the heavyweight champion.
All the local papers have Munroe at over 200lbs, and they are the most direct primary evidence available. Unless primary sources to the contrary are forthcoming, we must assume this to be the case.

If they give his weight as 200lbs then we would assume that he would be over 200lbs by an ounce or two, hence over 200lbs.

We have to regard the local newspapers with reporters on the scene as the most direct source available. Boxrec is not a primary source, and should not be regarded above primary reports in terms of the weight it lists for either the Jeffries fight or the previous one.

It's my understanding that fighters often gave a figure to newpapers without it being verified,if you are correct then Boxrec would have to have been wrong twice on Munroe, not impossible ,but maybe unlikely.

Kennedy was quite tall for the times 6'2" but usually around 190lbs. CBZ has his weight as 190/220lbs.so I am happy to accept he scaled that for Jeffries.:good
