Scam Cheater better pray to the god of bad chins that Vitali does pull out, because Maskev hurt him easily. If Maskaev hurts you easily, Vitali decapitates you.

Vitali KO3 Scam Cheat Ass Cheater.

Peter got knocked off balance by Maskeav, he never even was rocked in that fight. Peter might not be the most skilled Heavyweight out there, but the guy is very heavy handed and can take a good punch and keep coming, anyone that doesnt agree should watch Peter/Wlad, Wlad was the one falling all over the place and panicking the whole night, his boxing ability and excessive clinching saved him that night.

Some people have an AWFUL lot of faith in a guy who hasn't had a fight in 3 years and is somewhat injury plagued...

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Other than the last minute or so of the fifth round and the last 30 seconds of round 10, he was in complete control and dominating the goat herder. so, he pretty much owned peter for about 34 of the 36 minute fight :yep

ive got vitali-peter at about 60-40 odds. 60% chance of mayor vitali pulling out again and 40% of vitali ending scam's career. peter has no chance against the mayor imo. if vitali actually gets in to the ring, u better believe he will be healthy and ready to rumble. he's too smart to comeback for the payday and declined. peter is ready to be knocked out!

btw, i think vitali's political responsibilities will prevent this fight. it wont even get to training camp. Politics UD Vitali :yep

I've got the fight a 60/40 favor to vitali.. Peter cannont stand flatfooted against vitali!! I have a feeling he will and he will not be able to withstand what vitali can bring and the fact that vitali has a rock iron chin. I lose to vitali would not end his career like kobeisgod said though

Vitali's chin is first class in my opinion, I'm pretty sure you saw the shots he ate from Lewis, you can't take such shots and keep coming unless you have a first class chin which Vitali has. Sam showed the same against the harder(arguably) hitter Wladimir for 12 damn rounds and was only hurt for like 1 second in the 12th from a punch he didn't see coming too and still stayed there. Then those bombs proved to be too much for Peter and the McCline fight was the proof, even Toney stunned Peter with shots he didn't see. Also you must remember that Vitali is a very good defensive fighter for a man his height and size, just hard to catch at times and Peter will need to eat some bombs to land 1 or 2, this is going to be a massacre if a good version of Vitali(don't expect it) shows up, though I think it might be competitive since Vitali hasn't been active at all and won't be surprised if he loses since he already had stamina issues back in the day so expect worse now. Great fight though, can't wait to see it and hope Vitali doesn't get injured again.

Fair enough, but winning by 3 points on all three of the judges scorecards is hardly dominant performance by any stretch. I also have it 60/40, but I'm favoring Samuel, by the time Vitali gets back in the ring, it would of been 3 years and 10 months since Vitali's last fight, you can be rest assured his timing, speed, and reflexes will be nothing like the 04 version, and his great chin will of eroded a bit as well IMO.

My guess is it's the back again. Or maybe the knee again.

if peter keeps up that Vegas training program, he will ko himself

i dont think anyone expects vitali to be the same but he could be very good. i'd expect him to be tight early, but pick it up as peter starts to tire. i place a lot of weight on vitali's intellingence and believe he wont step in the ring unless he is ready.

    Indeed.

If Vitali steps through the ropes, (very likely) you know he'll be in supreme condition, and well sparred and trained. No way is he foolish enough to enter a fight with a fighter like Peter unless he is either at, or close to being at, where he was when he retired after beating the hell out of Danny WIliams.

Vitali is smart enough to spar (with, say, his brother) in a way so as to gauge himself against in order to see where his skills and reflexes are, curently. If he is severely lacking, I highly doubt he'd even be taking this fight. The guy is intelligent and knows what he can and cannot do, and that he will be fighting not only Peter, but inactivity/rust. He'll be ready and will take whatever measures it takes to get himself prepared and as much rust blown off, as possible.

Thats the thing Kobe, he wont be ready, thats why he will either find away to postpone the fight or cancel it all together, leaving Peter and boxing fans high and dry, he's done it before, he will do it again, you could bank on that.

If the fight is going to happen in Oct, it's just long enough for Vitali to get injured, or come up with a lame excuse why he cant fight Peter. All those who are wishing for Vitali, should think again, say he does pull out the victory, you wont see the WBC being defended for another year, and it will be eliminator like Golota/Briggs or Virchis/Gomez, in the end boxing fans will lose.

:yep that's why i said it's 60-40 in another vitali "pull out" id love to see the fight but i dont think its gonna happen. more likely, peter goes on a strict "diet" of don king retreads
